Aurora IT was established in 2005 and was originally based in Sydney, NSW. Needing a “Tree Change” and identifying a need for Business Grade IT support in the Southern Highlands, Richard Andrews (Owner and Director) decided to move Aurora to Bowral.

Richard’s experience is extensive and having run a successful IT company in the UK, specialising in Managing Primary Schools IT systems he knows that the key to building a successful company is to build good customer relationships, provide exceptional service and reliable support.

He also believes in investing in his employees by providing staff development, training and support to give you best team available.

Aurora also operates the only Internet Café in Bowral to provide a calm environment for the community to come and enjoy super fast access to the internet, use of the latest technology and games.
The Internet Café also offers FREE training at selected times during the week for the community’s residents, all for the price of PC usage which is $5 per hour.

We also offer Internet and LAN Gaming to our community members, young and old.

Richard has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years and has had the benefit of working on some major IT projects.
Educated to degree level and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) he has the experience and knowledge to develop, install and support a wide range of IT systems.
A father of two young boys when he can he enjoys riding Motorcycles, all manner of motorsport and in his former life (pre children) enjoyed world travel (Mongolia and Iceland being highlights).
Having run a successful IT Education Managed Service business in the UK he not only brings business acumen and long term customer relationship ethics to the team but his wealth of IT knowedge and experience.

A semi-professional rally driver and race/drive instructor to the stars!! Ian has a technical repair background for both PC's and Medical equipment having sucsessfully run and sold his Medical Repair business.

Ian brings his considerble PC repair experince and skills to the team but is also the "man in the cafe" who will be there to offer any assistance or help needed by our non-technical customers. A plain english speaker he can deciper the geekness in IT and help you get the most out of technology.
